Avoca Call Info Extension — Privacy Policy

- Overview.This Privacy Policy describes how Avoca, Inc. (“Avoca,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles data collected by the Avoca Call InfoChrome browser extension (the “Extension”). The Extension is a B2B tool made available exclusively to employees and contractors of businesses that are Avoca customers. It surfaces recent Avoca call history for phone numbers appearing on ServiceTitan pages, without requiring any personal consumer data to be entered by the user.
By installing or using the Extension you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension.
- Data We Collect. The Extension collects the following categories of data:
- Authentication credentials.When you sign in to Avoca through the Extension, we store an access token and a refresh token in your browser’s local extension storage (
chrome.storage.local). These tokens authenticate your requests to Avoca’s servers. - Email address. Your Avoca account email address is stored locally in the Extension so it can be displayed in the popup. It is received from Avoca during sign-in and is not collected from any third-party page.
- Phone numbers from page content. The Extension reads the text of pages on
*.servicetitan.comdomains to detect phone numbers. When you click a highlighted phone number, that number is sent to Avoca’s servers to retrieve matching call records. No other page content is transmitted. - Team selection. The ID and display name of the Avoca team you select are stored locally so the Extension can scope call lookups to your team. No additional team or customer data is stored in the browser.
The Extension does not collect health information, financial information, location data, web browsing history, general user activity (keystrokes, scroll position, mouse movement), or personal communications.

- How We Use Your Data. All data collected by the Extension is used solely to provide the call-lookup feature:
- Authentication tokens are used to authorize API requests to Avoca on your behalf and are automatically refreshed before expiry.
- Your email address is displayed in the Extension popup so you can confirm which account is signed in.
- Phone numbers are transmitted to Avoca’s servers only when you explicitly click a highlighted number; the response contains recent call records associated with that number for your selected team.
We do not use Extension data for advertising, marketing profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the call-lookup service.
- Data Storage.
- On-device storage. Authentication tokens, your email address, and team selection are stored in
chrome.storage.localon your device. This storage is scoped to the Extension and is not accessible to websites or other extensions. Data is cleared when you sign out or uninstall the Extension. - Avoca servers.Call records displayed in the tooltip are retrieved from Avoca’s servers in real time and are not persisted by the Extension beyond the lifetime of the tooltip. The underlying call data is governed by the Avoca Privacy Policy and any applicable data processing agreement between Avoca and your employer.
- On-device storage. Authentication tokens, your email address, and team selection are stored in
- Data Sharing. We do not sell, rent, or share Extension data with third parties for their own purposes. Data may be shared only in these circumstances:
- Service providers: Infrastructure vendors (hosting, security) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- Your employer: Because the Extension is a B2B product, your employer (as the Avoca customer) may have visibility into call records accessed through the Extension, consistent with their agreement with Avoca.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
- Your Rights. Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at all@avoca.ai. You may also sign out of the Extension at any time to remove locally stored data from your browser.
- Children’s Privacy.The Extension is intended solely for use by adults employed by Avoca customers. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 13 years of age. If you believe a minor’s data has been collected, please contact us at all@avoca.ai so we can delete it promptly.
- Changes to This Policy. We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via an updated version of this page. Your continued use of the Extension after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
